Bishop Marc Andrus
In August 2016 the Bishop of California, Marc Andrus, introduces Jill Purce, describing the importance of her pioneering work with Family Constellations, the Healing Voice and her roll in inspiring the installation of labyrinths in his Cathedral – Grace Cathedral in San Francisco – during the 1990’s.
"Jill," he says, "helped inspire Lauren Artress, the person who birthed the modern labyrinth movement. Jill's groundbreaking work with the labyrinth was inspiring and informative to Lauren, and important... it couldn't have been done without Jill's work."
Jill’s 1974 book The Mystic Spiral, Journey of the Soul is her seminal work on the subject.
