Activities We Will Share:
- Practical explorations with sound for healing and the transformation of consciousness.
- Liberating our voice, to make contact with deep levels of the Self and release an untapped source of energy.
Working with the psycho-physical effects of breathing,
chanting, mantric and sonic meditations. - Learning to tune and listen together, moving from the intuitive level into meditative states.
- Developing breath and sound in ways to set different parts of the body-mind in resonance, to give sonic massage, heal and tune the chakras and subtle body.
- Finding our own note and hearing inner sound; entering directly into the subtle dimension of sound by magical voice techniques, Mongolian and Tibetan overtone chanting.
- Using mystical sound techniques from traditional cultures to discover our own voice and source of inner power.

"At the workshop the real magic took place when Jill Purce demonstrated the overtone chanting which was to become the focus of the weekend. This makes audible the natural spectrum of the voice so that flute-like harmonics are heard rising above the single note. It was a celestial sound, ethereal and haunting and far more impressive than any trick of conjuring or ventriloquism I have ever seen. Extremely powerful and intense- Jill works individually with each person's family. Working ceremonially with the resonant fields of the family. Revealing the dynamic of their patterns in order to restore order. Transforming the destructive influences that we inherit into the blessings which can change our life and the lives of all family members. As families and ancestors are resonant fields, Jill has found that one of the most effective ways of healing them is through resonance and the voice, in the context of ceremony. By working in the present for each person, we are able to change the past and the future. When earlier family members in previous generations have died or left the family young, something of the nature of this persons departure gets frozen in time and creates a magnet for later generations to follow them - by disentangling people from the patterns of earlier members of the family, we are able to clear the field for this and any subsequent generations. The work is intense and oracular and profoundly healing and done within the sacred context of ceremony. Done in this way, it seems to uncover and restore aspects of the psyche closed to normal therapeutic methods.
Whereas during her April and October Week Healing Voice Intensives Jill does her pioneering ceremonial work developed over 30 years for healing the ancestral lines, in her June Intensive week, Ritual and Resonance Healing the Family and Ancestors, she combines the two- here she does the work on its own. She also encourages those who can, to do the preceding day, the intense Friday Voice of Shamanism, -another family healing ceremony.
